I bought a dive rite trek wing ~ 4 months ago. And I love it.
However last week I noticed that my wing was deflated after being stored for a few days. I couldn't remember how much air I had put in it so I inflated a much as I could and after a day it felt soft again.
I tried to locate the leak and realized that it was fairly small and around the quick dump valve. I tried to tighten the all thing but it didn't improve.

Should I be worried about such a small leak? or is it normal?

The next time I'm planning to dive extensively is in Cozumel and after returning I'm leaving for belize on the Nekton so I won't have much time to get it fix in between the two trips if that leak prevents me from diving my set up in Coz.

What would be you advise I should do?

Thanks,
OP

First, remove and clean the dump valve very good.

Put some lubricant on the diaphragm and replace the valve.

Inflate the wing, not to the bursting limit, but as you would under normal diving conditions, and see if it still leaks.

If it still leaks have the dump valve replaced.
