You misunderstood my post Jackie. I didn't mean dragging them out (preventing them diving). I meant dragging them out (unconscious or worse) if something happens.

I'd never tell anyone how to dive, what gave me that right? But if the shoe was on the other foot and I was doing something stupid (that perhaps I wasn't aware of), I'd hope a more experienced diver steps in and helps me out. I, for one, would have no issues if someone with more experience suggested something to me.

In the end, it's often how it's said that determines whether or not a line is crossed.
