How do you guys deal with the strap of a computer which is just unnecessarily long. On my XR-2 I use the 4th notch out of about 11this leaves a good bit like 6-7 inches on unused strap to get in the way.. How can I remedy this?

Replace it with bungee. It's about a million times easier than dealing with a strap.

Plastic strap??

Trim it off.

Fish_Whisperer:
Cut it off, and if you can put a keyring through the attachment point, get a heavy-duty retractor and snap it on.

This also works well for your cell phone, wallet, car keys, lucky hat, etc.

I see lots of people people looping it back and sticking it under one or two of the rings that hold it after coming out of clasp part. It still leaves a loop though.

Plastic I cut the extra off - just leave enough to use over the thickest suit you might wear.

Be careful cutting it. I cut mine and then decided to go dry. Needless to say the band was too short and I had to buy a new one. Sure, it was only 20.00 but I had to wait two weeks to get it. Now I just tuck the excess back through the loop when diving wet.
