Here is my reply from more Mobile software, makers of dive log.
Hello William,
Today, Friday March 23, Dive Log Manager does not support direct download of any dive computers. We have had support for downloading UWatec IrDA based computers in Beta test for quite some time now though, and we hope to release it early next week. So if you wait a few days, yes you will be able to download your Galileo Luna on the desktop and transfer your logbook back and forth to any iOS device using Dive Log (which is available for purchase in the App Store). The transfer of logbooks currently happens over WiFi and you can transfer to as many devices as you have Dive Log running on.
Both programs are paid programs and purchased separately. The paid version of Dive Log Manager is $20 right now, but when we release the direct dive computer download support, the purchase price will be increased to $25. Anyone that owns it beforehand of course, will get the new functionality as a free upgrade.
Dive Log Manager is available from our website here:
http://www.moremobilesoftware.com/Dive_Log_Manager.html
and there are instructions for how to purchase a license if you want to. You can use the free version to transfer logbooks back and forth to Dive Log so you do not need to purchase anything for that functionality.
Dive Log Manager is also available on the Mac App Store as a free version, and as a paid version called Dive Log DT. It will be submitted to Apple early next week but it will take a while longer before the direct download support is reviewed and available for customers to purchase.
I hope that all that answers your questions. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Cheers,
Janice McLaughlin
