I think you will find that you're much better off getting fills at the local shop. Unless you fill your tank hundreds of times a year, it will be cheaper (and certainly simpler) to get your fills at the shop.

It also needs a filter, not your standard construction type compressor.

im really not gonna use it for diving , im gonna use it for paintball i couldnt find the info area and i guess i would come and ask some experts on the subject of scuba tanks

From my brief understanding, I play paintball as well as dive, these high pressure compressors run several thousand dollars, not your average $200 - $500 sears units.

You're looking at a few thousand dollars just for the compressor, plus hundreds in maintenance.

Take the tank to the local scuba shop and pay $4 a fill.

Since some paintball cylinders go up to 4500 PSI, you are limited to filling 3000 psi bottles at the local dive shop. If you ever want to go to the higher pressure tanks for more shots per fill, you will need your own high pressure compressor. An electric 4500 psi compressor with paintball filler will run you $2750 and will put out scuba grade air. After the initial filter runs out, paintball grade filters are available at a reduced amount. However, with the small compressor, it will take about one or two minutes to fill your bottle and you should get about 500 fills before you need to change the filter so the cost there is minimal. Also, if you hurry, there is a special for free shipping on compressors shipped before DEMA. Drop me a line at ray@rayzplace.com and I will get you fixed up!

What brand of compressors is that for $2750?

I'm still looking for paintball fillers, but the ones made for the US aren't "CE" approved an cannot be put on the market over here. If you have any links, please feel free to post them. (No, I don't play paintball. I sell compressors.)

Prices for 4500 psi breathing air compressors suitable for personal use starts from $1800 + sales tax over here, by the way... :D

I saw the compressors on your site and they are listed at 16990 krone or about $2650 US. I also sell a Coltri Sub derivitive only they have been modified to use better filters than Coltri puts out, drain hoses routed to direct the moisture away from the base as well as have a back pressure regulator installed for improved drying efficiency. Plus, I do a run in with a MUCH better compressor fluid than Coltri supplies.

Good luck on the quick disconnects. Even over here there are LOTS of different qualities of suppliers and some that look identical to the 4500 PSI ones are cracking at only about 2500-3000 psi. I see a bunch of the scary Chinese made ones selling on the net for about $15-25 while the safe ones sell for as much as $50.
