Buying a compressor for use at home and purchasing extra scuba tanks is certainly the best option unless you already have a hydraulic system on your boat. I have helped several boat owners with custom systems for the boat and also sold units for dive shops as well.

I have a Bauer Oceanus, which is about the size of a Jnr 2, but has a bigger head on it and pumps 4.9cuft per minute. Plus a lot of the parts are stainless steel and it has a bigger oil sump allowing it to be tilted at a 20 degree angle. This is a model that is specifically suited to boats. Available in petrol or electric.
