Hi everyone! I am about to buy a whist compass and after some research I narrowed it down to the Scubapro FS-2 and the Suunto SK8. Anyone has tried either or both? pros and cons of each?

thanks!

FS-2
- tilt angle of up to 35 degrees
- you can use the same compass for both Northern and Southern hemispheres

SK-8
- tilt angle of up to 30 degrees
- calibrated in 2 zones, either Northern or Southern hemisphere.

What @runsongas said: FS-2 is ugly. We're not replacing ours anytime soon because we hardly ever use it, but if you plan on actually using yours, you might want to consider something with cleaner face.

I have had both, SK-8 developed a bubble, FS-2 still working fine. Tilt is decent with both, I like the FS-2 the best just for cosmetics and a little thinner. I hardly ever use anymore though because my new Aqua Lung I770-R computer has a digital compass built in to it that works much better.
