What are people adding as a compass for the Suunto Gekko computer? I would rather have it attatch to the hose or the computer than a watch or other attatchment. Any suggestions?

The Suunto SK7 is very well respected and should be able to get a mount that will fit your console if you have a suunto console.

If you have the Suunto console you can pretty easily add sections to it and stick a SK7 compass in there. I have the 3 gauge version with a SPG and computer on one ide, and the compass on the back, so it's pretty compact as consoles go.

If you've got the Suunto Combos console (with the Gekko on the end of the SPG), you can get the SK-7 either as end mount (so it gives you a row: SPG, Gekko, compass) or as a back mount (opposite the SPG, so you spin back and forth between SPG and compass). Any LDS with Suunto gear can get you either one.

(The watch band SK-7 compass is the other style available from Suunto, and any SK-7 can be moved to a Deep Sea Supply bungee wrist mount should you ever decide you'd rather.)
