I use a Pinnacle Breaker 3 Mil. and love it. Worked great in Cozumel last September and very nonrestrictive. Not so sure about the retail price though. I paid less than $100 for mine, but my LDS gives me a good "cash discount!"

Hope that helps,

Bryce

I've used/own henderson, oneil and bare. Once you jump in the water, it's all the same.

I have trip to an O'neil 3000x GBM that I got for my trip to Cozumel last November. I loved it, I have 2 O'neil wetsuits & I think they are Great. I purchased mine @ a dive shop in Sacramento. I didn't check to see were you are located but right now Amazon.con has them for sale from LP for 150.00. They also had a different mdel in there form 90.00

Has anyone had a suit made by Aquaflite in Florida? Looking at their website and just curious about their durability etc for their suits.

I am always curious when I read the praise for the Gold Core suits in threads like this. MY LDS stopped carrying them a while ago because they had so many returns for ripped out seams. I was once on a dive where one of the divers had the leg seam rip out on he when she put it on. It was the second time she had ever worn it. Except for all the praise I see in forums like this, that is my total knowledge of that suit.

I am curious if you have different mil's of O'neils. I own a 7000J for cold water diving, & it is absolutely the best fitting (& quality in MHO) wetsuit I've had. I wonder if the 3mm 3000 will fit exactly the same??

Rex,

My wife has a Body Glove 3mm suit that we paid $49 for on sale with over 60 dives on it and it looks almost like brand new.

I have a Bare Velocity 3/2mm suit that that I paid $99 for and love . The suit is very stretchy and comfortable but isn't wearing as well as my wife's Body Glove.

Not wanting to threadjack, but to answer: my wife and I have 2 suits apiece from them and the fit is awesome and the suits are well made. Certainly holding up after two years and ~15-20 dives each. We are happy; custom fit and less expensive than some of the high-end suits.

I use an XSScuba 3mm superstretch for tropics (size = medium tall).

I use a Henderson 7/5mm gold core for california/temperate waters (size = XL)

Sometimes I just use a full skin in the tropics for shallow reef diving.
