Diver drowns in Gulf waters - Emirates 24/7
An Arab diver drowned in the Gulf waters while fixing a marine cable for his company in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The man, in his 40s, went into the water with another company diver to repair the cable, but he went missing after the other diver finished his task.

‘Sabq’ daily said coastguard divers combing the area found the body a few hours later in waters off the northern Saudi town of Khafji.

It said the coastguards and police are investigating the incident.
