Hi. I have a totally un-diving related question, but I'm hoping to find people who take their interest in aquatic systems outside of diving.

I'm a masters student conducting behavioral studies on brown trout. I'm using an oval steel trough (12ftx6ft) that has a hole cut out of the center making it look like a racetrack. I need to heat the water entering the trough (which is at ~46F) to 72F and maintain that temperature for at least 10 hours.

Does anybody know where I might be able to find a large aquarium heater with a thermostat?

Any advice, references would be great.

Thanks,

Nora
