Hi Pembina, amen to your previous comment. Just curious, what didn't you like about your visit to the West End (and no, not trying to bait you ;) )
 
I've recused myself from further participation in this thread as posted in my previous response.

For one person it means that he's now on my ignore list so any further debate here is now pointless.

I would hope that others will continue this thread in a useful manner.

I remember it being hot & humid that day (even though it was February) and I just couldn't seem to escape the heat. The souvenir shops were crowded and basically each shop had the same merchandise. It didn't help that hubby got bored with the shopping very early on and was rushing me :D . I did find the public restrooms very eye opening :shocked2:.
Maybe if I had been more comfortable and less stressed it would have been a different experience.
