Coming to SRQ/TPA Aug 15-16

Hi,
I live in NYC but planning a trip to visit my parents in Sarasota Aug 15-17 so would love to get some diving in on the Saturday and Sunday in the mornings.

I have over 250 dives and am confortable in most environments (spent a few years in soCal = cold and no vis).

Anyway, I would love some suggestions on dives sites and dive charters to go diving with. ... maybe even a dive partner would be good

Down in that area I will recommend Scuba Quest for your charters. They run two boats out of Brandenton. They run a good outfit. If you are interested in springs there are quite a few of those north of you a couple of hours. My favorite is Paradise Springs but I'm sure others will chime in with their favorites so you will have plenty to pick from. As of right now I have that Saturday open so if you are looking for a dive buddy we might be able to set something up. Just shoot me a message. If you have any other questions feel free. Be forwarned that the diving here will make you want to move down.
