Hello everyone,

Gong to be in Baltimore MD the first week of October for a conference. I'll be staying at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel and I'm wondering where (close by to the hotel) I can rent gear and do some diving.

I know it's a little in advance but just tryig to get some info prior to getting there. Also looking for a buddy or two to do some diving then. Will be there from Oct. 2 through the 6th.

Thanks for any help.

It may not be the closest to your hotel, but I would recommend Diver's Den.

Wish I could tag along, but the new wife would disapprove of new gear and trips while we still only have one pot to cook in and my last semester of college to pay for! ;)

Oh well, I'll just take solace in the fact that the Lusitania will still be there when I have the time/money -> training to see her.

I know what you mean about the wife getting upset. Been there and still do that. HAHAHAHA

Thanks for the info, I'll have to call them next week and see what's up in Oct.

hey turks
my wife is getting her masters in balt.
i will be visiting her often and have never been in the waters off the northeast OCEAN coastline (as opposed to the North coast:)
maybe we should link up, i might need to find some water while she's in class!!
she's about three blocks from the harbour

Aquaventures in Cockeysville is also a good shop.

Diving in and around Baltimore is not that plentiful...Guppy Gulch (a mud pit), Bainbridge (about 2h drive away and a decent quarry). Almost better off driving down to VA Beach for a boat dive!
