to the University SCUBA Club's Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest and campout. We will be having two classes of competition, above water gutted pumpkins, and fully underwater carving. We will be hosting at Mansfield Dam, pod 2 in the camping area, on Friday evening, October 27th (the Friday before Holloween). Admission is whatever the gate charges (if your camping, probably 20, if not, probably 8, but if you come at the right time, you can get in for free, but don't stay overnight or you'll get tagged by the park for camping). Carving will commence roughly around 8, so its dark, and the creepy carp will be up and ready to spook his victims. If you show up late, well, jump in and carve. Judging will begin at either 11 or when everyone who's carving is done. Other than that, come with your favorite beverage of choice, and if your staying the night, bring something to sleep in.
