I can't speak for Alaska and Western BC, but in Seattle there is plenty of shore diving available. Along with the dry suit, you'd also need a hood and thick gloves (or dry gloves), and a good dive light is nice too. Here's a couple more cool pictures that Uncle Pug has posted from Port Hardy (North Vancouver Island).JustJoe:Do you have long boat rides or are shore dives more common?
