Many of us who love diving have wondered what it takes to become a dive professional. In our February monthly meeting, Tom Burns, SSI, will share with us the pathway to becoming an SSI Dive Professional. Whether you’re an open water diver that is thinking about becoming a Dive Professional or Dive Pro with any other Dive Training agency SSI has a pathway to help you reach your goal.

Tom is the Northeast District Sales Manager for Head Watersports, which includes Mares and Scuba Schools International (SSI).

Tom has an extensive background in IT technology, diver training, and sales. Tom’s experience includes manufacturing, service, marketing, and sales in the IT infrastructure industry, where he owned his own business for over 17 years. In addition, Tom is an SSI Instructor Certifier with more than 16 years of experience teaching scuba.

Tom is responsible for business support and sales from Maine to South Carolina.
