I am currently using an S90 in a Fisheye Fix housing with 2 - 5" ULCS segments, 3 ULCS clamps, ULCS tray, and a single strobe. It is quite negative and it is a pain sometimes when I hold it with one hand, especially when I have the heavy UWL-10067 on the caddy.

I am planning to add another strobe arm and I was considering on getting 2 - 8" buoyancy segments so that I will have a regular 5 inch segment and an 8" buoyancy segment in each arm, with the longer buoyancy segment on the strobe end. I would like to keep the regular 5 inch arms because I have wet lens caddies attached to them. However, I am concerned that I might have handling issues underwater, and most rigs I see with a combination of regular and buoyancy arms have the buoyancy arms attached to the handle side. Is it okay to use a regular 5" segment with the 8" buoyancy segment if I want to be switching between wide and macro wet lenses during dives?

Should be no issue either way. Just make sure that you set it up so it is rather symmetrical so it doesn't twist.

hey ozz, nope not yet. Most likely I'll have it by the end of October. I'll let you know how it goes! Also, I emailed ULCS about this and they also said its a non-issue.
