Fellow Military Divers,

We want to make you aware of a very unique dive opportunity. The Combat Diver Foundation will be hosting a charity dive/concert in Pensacola, Florida in September to raise money to preserve the history of an elite subset of the Special Operations community. We will be auctioning off slots for the charity dive through our website.

The dive presents an opportunity to dive with Special Forces Combat Divers, get an up close look at our equipment, and to tip a glass with our Dive Supervisors.

A little about us:

The Combat Diver Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity dedicated to preserving the history of the elite Combat Diver community. Our ultimate goal is the construction of the Combat Diver Museum that will serve as a home for the artifacts of our unique community. You can read more about us at www.combatdiver.org.

Our event is called the Deep Dive 2019 and will be a charity dive/concert at the Flora-Bama Lounge. The event page is www.combatdiver.org/deep-dive-2019.

We've attached a copy of our event flyer we hope you’ll share with your dive buddies.

How did the event go? I was a Navy diver (not UDT or SEAL) but would have enjoyed being there.

The event went really well! We got a lot of Combat Divers together with some support from 7th Special Forces Group and the local recruiters. Unfortunately the weather intervened and the dive didn't happen but the Flora-Bama picked some really good musicians for the event and we raised a little money.

Most importantly, we got the word out for next year's event which will take place on 29 August. Hope to see everyone there. Even if you're not a Combat Diver it's a fun time and a good cause. Follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn for details.
