does anybody know what correctional lenses I need to buy for this lense? I want one for blue water and one for green water. Does Ikelite make a color correction lense to fit this lense? ...or am I missing something? do you use color correction lenses on the camera itself or on the housing..on the Raynox lense?....help!! IS IT THE SAME OUTER DIAMETER AS A W-20 WIDE ANGLE LENSE?

signed...stupid ...I guess!!!
DUMB CANUCK!!

The color correcting filter goes on the accessory port (external). Explaining Wide Angle Conversion Lens Options for Video
Some Ikelite video housings support the use of Raynox DCR-730/DCR-731 wide-angle conversion lenses...

Use of these internal lenses requires replacement of the housing's standard front lens port with a longer accessory port. Accessory ports are available in both dome and flat versions.
If you have the Smaller Diameter Port:
Smaller Diameter Ports for select models. Look for "Raynox #2" in the W/A Lens Option column of the Sizes and Features Chart to determine whether the following ports are compatible with your housing.

The #9306.70 Optional Dome Port (MSRP $250) provides increased angle of coverage and improved clarity, but limits zoom and macro range.
The #9306.71 Optional Flat Port (MSRP $175) offers zoom and macro capabilities but reduces the overall conversion factor of the lens.

These ports accept 3.6" Color Filters #6441.42 for Tropical Blue Water and #6441.82 for Green Water.

Do you have a W-20 instead? I don't think you use them both at the same time. Either way it's the same filter.

Or if you have the Larger Diameter Port it's a diffferent filter:
Larger Diameter Ports for select models. Look for "Raynox #3" in the W/A Lens Option column of the Sizes and Features Chart to determine whether the following ports are compatible with your housing.

The #9306 Optional Dome Port provides increased angle of coverage and improved clarity, but limits zoom and macro range.
The #9306.1 Optional Flat Port offers zoom and macro capabilities but reduces the overall conversion factor of the lens.

These ports accept 3.9" Color Filters #6441.46 for Tropical Blue Water and #6441.86 for Green Water.
Either set of filters are sold here:

Check with IKELITE to be certain but that's how it appears on their website. They have a forum here: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ikelite/

Thanks for the info...so the color correcting lenses for a w-20 will fit? The 3.6" color filters #6441.42 for Tropical Blue water and #6441.82 for green water? Do I have this correct? so they will fit the Raynox lense the same as the w-20? I have an Ikelite housing #6095 with a canon hfs100 and a Raynox DCR-731 (Raynox #2) conversion lense. I purchased this setup just recently (it hasn't arrived yet) and I want to order the correction lenses so they will get here shortly after I receive the new setup.

The information that you sent me is correct...checked with Ikelite...uses the same filters as the w-20

Thanks again Diversteve
