Hi,

We are thinking about taking a cruise and one of the stops is in Colon, Panama - can anyone tell me about the diving and recommendations on who we might want to check out to use for an excursion? We normally book all the dive excursions on our own - we do not go with the cruise ship. We will be in port from 8 AM to 4:00 PM.

Thanks,
cruzbound

Portobelo is about an hour away and has good diving, including plenty of reef, wild life, and some wrecks. There are at least two shops that offer guided dives. Golden Frog Scuba is one of them and does a good job safely.
