I worked my way through College as a journalism major and was recruited right out of school by the Chicago Tribune Newspaper. Then went on to WGN Radio and helped start up CLTV News in Chicago. My foundation in College and a successful media career started at COD ( College of DuPage ) in Glen Ellen Illinois. I am truly honored to be chosen to receive the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award and applaud COD as they continue the valuable work of providing outstanding opportunities in higher education for students of all abilities.
