Well lets see. I'm a senior at SMU in Dallas. I got into Scuba this summer and got hooked on a trip to Cayman. Got my advanced cert in July in Lake Travis. That sucked.

I plan on graduating in December of 2005 and would like to have my Dive masters by then but we'll see. I'd like to go work on a boat for a few months before I go to grad school.

My other interests are competitive shooting, hunting, cars, skiing and boarding, pretty much anything outdoors.

I'm on about 80 forums across the interenet spanning all my hobbies but this was my 1st here.

I have a post in the travel forum as I'm looing for trip advice. Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome! I see I'm not the only one who keeps strange hours. Although its 2 hours later here... :shiner: .

WELCOME to ScubaBoard Marcus!!!
Happy when I see someone enter this sport with such enthusiasm.
Don't lose it. I was away for over thirty years and I regret every missed dive.
Hope to see your posts often.
Oh, and you share a birthday with a very important person, my son.

Howdy!

And welcome to SB - the biggest, the best, the fastest growing, and :D the friendliest!
If you'll simply click ScubaBoard.com above, you'll be taken to our long list of forums, a wealth of information and resources. My favorite is at the bottom: Singles Dive Club.

Dive Master is a lofty goal. Why not learn more about diving before setting goals.

It would help in future diving discussions if you'd complete your Dive Info. You can use the Quick Links above to reach those easily. Sizing a photo for your profile or Avatar can be a challenge; I'm a fumbling amateur, but I get the job done, if you'd like any help?

PM me if I can help you learn your way around; that is - click my username to the upper left, then follow the prompts to send me a "Personal Message." :thumb:

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Have fun here and good luck on getting travel advice. This is a great place to get info.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
