Hi from New Hampshire,
water is always cold but who cares,
started diving 5 years ago when I turned 56 just in time to find out how much fun it is and meet some great new friends. I recomend it to anyone who needs something more in their life other than the humdrum of walking the surface, next to diving sailing is another passion one should develope the two can't be beat.
Plan to do both for a very long time.
thanks for the welcome

Harbuilt,
Hello, welcome to Scubaboard, and great post. I feel the same way. I learned to sail in the late 1960s, started diving much much later (when I was 51).
