Only snorkeled Coki beach which was ok. Saw a small group of what looked to be resort divers, mostly sitting on the bottom. It's a popular cruise destination and can be very crowded. I would avoid it on days when cruise ships are in. Over all impression is that it was a tourist trap. Hope that helps.

It's OK. Not great. Somewhere cheap to get wet...

Easy entry - close to Coki Beach it was pretty sparse. If you bear right towards Coral World, we found some stuff near the outflow pipes that looked more interesting. A little past the outflow pipes we were caught in a nasty current late afternoon and had to exit up a little hill and get a ride back. When we got back the diveop beach attendant was just about to go look for us as he thought that might've happened. Wish he'd mentioned it earlier. :shakehead:

Personally I'll do a boat dive with Dive In or Red Hook Diving next time - there's better diving out in the Cays - as we found out a day later.

I've been there a few times myself and have enjoyed the easy beach dive. They have a nice staff and if you ask a few days before they will take you on a boat dive.

The only downside like DiverSteve mentioned is the current likes to change a lot so you have to be careful not to pass too much after the pipes, where the current will whip you out. We’ve also encountered a current change mid-dive and had to end the dive swimming as close to the bottom as I possibly can to not over work myself.

If you do decide to go, make sure that while you are coming on your way in, you stay close to coral world so you can see the two huge Cubera Snappers that come out to say hi (bone-crusher and two-face.)
