We will be staying at Henry Morgan for 2 weeks in Feb and I would like to spend at least a day at Cocoview to try out the southside. Has anyone done this? My wife doesn't dive but snorkels so we are interested in spending a day there so I can do 1 or 2 shore dives and both of us can do some snorkeling. I contacted the resort and got kind of a vague answer about the possibilty of doing this. It seems the hotel and dive op are 2 different businesses.

The resort and dive op is one business, the dive shop (gear sales/rental/PADI facility) is another.

There will be no problem in doing what you want to do. Continue your communication by Contacting Dockside Dive Center

Read about a SB Member's visit there while on a cruise ship, essentially the same thing.... see Natasha's report If I only had 3 hours left on earth..this is the way I would want to spend them.
