Do the boats in CocoView moor when at the dive sites? Or is it a drift diving scenario? Wondering if I can practice deploying my SMB while there in August.
Yep, first dive is a mooring. They'll slide up on a float, grab the tagline floating behind it and tie. The other end is connecting to a large concrete mooring block. Reef safe. In fact many loations the mooring black has become habitat.
There are occasionally planned drift but not often. It depends on currents.
We have practiced shooting SMB but only after letting the capt. know in advance.
