My wife and I have read a bunch about the best time to dive Cocos island and curious if others have done it in December or other times of the year and your opinion. It seems the bet time to see stuff is summer with the rainy weather and choppy seas. Winter seems like better seas and vis but less to see. December seemed like a crossover month that fell into both categories a lot of times it was mentioned as when the seas start getting better and when the peak time of seeing things starts to fade. Thanks for any advice and information. Obviously it is a trip of a lifetime and expensive so we just want to at least try to time it right!

Not sure if you are thinking this year but we are going this December. I went one time before but it was in August and we saw plenty. So if you are thinking of going in December of 2016 I can let you know how this trip turns out. We are going with the Undersea Hunter fleet.
