Considering a trip to Cocos in 2024. Did Galapagos in late June 2022 and it was great but didn't get the hammerhead experience I was hoping for. The big schools were definitely there, but you could barely see them. Would May be too early for that at Cocos?

Prime season for the big schools is later in the summer but they're around all the time. I just got back a couple of weeks ago and we saw lots of them, although the visibility wasn't that great in many cases. Alcyone was the hot spot and we went back 6-7 times. One thing I have noticed is that the tigers aren't around like they used to be.
