Just returned from CCV last week and would like to add my $0.02.
I traveled with my non-diving spouse, and there is not much to do during the day when the divers are in the water other than to sit in the room or the "Clubhouse". There is a small beach past the Cabanas that my wife would go to, but no beach chairs and this is also where the local workers would take their breaks sometimes.
FIBR on the other hand has a really nice protected beach with chairs, umbrellas, etc.
My recommendation is that if your primary purpose is to dive, you cannot beat CCV. If you are not a hard core diver and just plan to get a few dives in during the week, you may want to consider other options such as FIBR (or other Roatan Resorts).
