I have a Cochran Gemini Plus computer for sale, or potentially trade for a more 'recreational' air-integrated computer.

I believe this was made in 2001, and is a 1FO2 model. I assume it has the standard memory, but I'm not sure. It is mounted in a retractor, but also includes a wrist-mount. I also have a copy of the Analyst software and the download cable, which will be included, but will require a 're-licensing' fee to be used.

I purchased the computer used and have only tested in a pool. It appears to function fine, and I just replaced the batteries.

This was top of the line in it's day, and is still a solid computer -- just more computer than I need. It is eesentially two computers in one: a tank-mounted unit and a wrist unit that work independently, but communicate with each other.

I'd like to get $400 for it, but will consider offers.

I'm out of town until the first of the year, so I can't upload until then. The computer shows some wear, but no tear.... It's used but functional, with no serious scratches in the face.

Thanks for your interest,

Okay, here are a few pictures.
The first shows everything included:
Tank unit.
Wrist unit on retractor, with compass.
Download cable.
Wrist strap.
Extra batteries, face shields, etc.
Analyst demo CD.
Analyst software CD.
Watertight case.
Instructions.

The other pictures are the hardware. I didn't know if the reflection of the flash was too bad on the first picture.

Oh, and this unit has the red backlight.

Thanks,

Yes. The tank mount collects and logs data -- I believe standard settings are 135hrs of dive data at one second intervals -- and transmits the useful info to the wrist unit. I believe the wrist unit has it's own depth readings for redundancy as well, but I could be wrong.

So how about $350? Anyone interested?
Maybe I'll just have to keep it; it's a great computer with tons of flexibility, just a bit bulky for travel.
