Cochran EMC-16 Safety Stop Countdown

Hi All,

I have an EMC-16 by Cochran and was wondering if it has a safety stop timer? I can't find anything about it in the manual but most dive computers have an automatic countdown when you reach 5m for a safety stop. This one doesn't and it seems strange not to have it as a feature.

Is it a setting or is it just not implemented?

highly unlikely that it would. Cochran does post on here from time to time though so you may get there, but since it is a military computer, I would be shocked if they had it

Ah, I bought it quite early on in my time diving, so wasn't aware it was military grade. That would explain it then! Thanks
