Can I, and if so how, deleate dives from the Cobra logbook? If I loaned my computer to someone else I'd like to be able to deleate their dives from the computer memory. Suggestions are welcome.

If you download into the Suunto logbook software you can tell the program to ignore the dives. As for deleting them from the dive computer... if you dive enough you will eventually fill up the computer and it will start pushing things out.

The short answer is no.

Vie is right, there is no way to delete dives or clear the memory although I'm sure someoneone the board could figure out how the factory does it. I think the Cobra starts pushing out old dives after about 39 hours and deletes the running totals of time etc. after 999 dives.

Where they will always appear:
- Dive logbook if accessed through the cobra itself (until overwritten by more recent dives)
- Dive history if accessed through the cobra (max depth, dive time)
- You can reset the dive history of max depth and dive time on the cobra through the landbased computer software.

Where you can "ignore" them:
- Choose the ignore feature for that dive when you download the cobra to a landbased computer
- This will delete this dive from your landbased computer total stats, dive time, dive #, max depth, etc.

im shure there has to be away to do it... but i know even if u sent it to aqualung they will not remove the dives from the computer
