I bought my cobra in 2005 from my dive shop. Dive shop is now closed and gone. I take care of my equipment, I rinse and clean after every dive.

On my last dive the computer went into dive mode as it was turned on, this happened on the surface. It proceeded to cycle through 0- 70 feet without diving. Beeping and the backlight would go on and off, this happened for the about 15 minutes. The computer is till pocked in that mode.

I brought it home and tried soaking the computer in warm water and vinegar as suggested but the problem continues.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I had the same thing happen more than a decade ago. You have to pull the battery and put it back in. It is supposed to be a dealer thing, but you can do it if you are careful.

I did replace the battery but I will try again
