Earmarking is a recovery tool in Clutterers Anonymous. We have to have a comfortable place and space for everything before bringing it into the house. We have to have earmarked space in order to avoid clutter. When we are through with using an item, we return it to that space. Using the tool of earmarking helps me too, when I do it. A comfortable place for everything and everything in its comfortable place. Learning to accept our limitations is the main part of the battle. When we do not have the comfortable space, energy, time, finances or ability to comfortably have a thing we must let it go if we want to be at peace.
