Earlier this year, when promos about the 25th Anniversary Sale at the Clearly Cayman Resorts (LCBR, CBBR, and CCGCR) came out - it was limited to the month of December and you had to book by April 20.

But I just saw that the sale is still being offered and has been extended to include dates from Nov 10, 2018 to January 19, 2019. You get free Nitrox, free Nitrox certification, and 1-tank afternoon dives for $25 (instead of $40), see below. Now it says must book by May 27 - but the sale is still posted online, so it may still be available.

There are plenty of fish in the sea. Choose wisely.

Celebrate our 25th Anniversary Month with
FREE Diving, FREE Nitrox Upgrade, FREE Nitrox Certification, and More*

Travel December 1 – 29, 2018
Now extended for travel November 10, 2018 – January 19, 2019
7 Nights from $1,525 – $1,725*

That's a great deal for the Caymans, especially with all meals included and if you are there between Xmas and New Year! I just committed to 10 days in Cozumel from 12/20-12/30. I will have to do the math comparison. Lots of variables. 10 days vs 7 days- breakfast only vs all 3 meals- nitrox and # of dives per day.

I just got an email from the Clearly Cayman resorts and they are still advertising their 25th anniversary sale this winter with free nitrox, free nitrox certification if desired, and the option to add on 5 afternoon dives for $125:

FREE Diving & FREE Nitrox

Hmmmm, I’m booked for January 26th already for Brac o_O

How far ahead do you guys normally post sales? My wife and I (and possibly a group of friends) are planning a trip to one of your resorts next June, but haven't booked it yet.

Kathy owns all three islands :). In fact, there’s a petition to rename the islands Grand Kathy...:)

I wish! I'm just excited because we will be heading back to the Caymans soon and we've been waiting for months!

Ask to be added to their email list, I post specials when I get them as emails.

As a point of reference, the Clearly Cayman resorts (and many other resorts and LOBs) often come out with sales early in the year, right around that the time that the new Scuba Shows start up again. We usually don't begin planning our fall trip until we go to the Our World Underwater show in Chicago in February.

But if you are trying to book during the high season (late December to mid or late April - it may vary with the date for Easter week) then you shouldn't wait too long because things can book up quickly. The same may be true if you are trying to find space for a large group, I don't know.

Also, the LCBR books up the quickest, and there are fewer flights to LC - so it is best not to wait too long to book Little Cayman.

I once remember booking a November trip to LCBR trip in March - and the resort still had a little space left but I couldn't find a return flight on a Saturday. We had to stay over an extra night (not a hardship!) and fly back on Sunday. When we booked they told us that we might have to move to a different room for the last night, but later they were able to arrange it so that we could stay put for the full 8 days.

But for a personal trip in June to CBBR or CCGCR (and maybe LCBR?) I think that you can wait a bit to see if any specials will be offered.
