Hello,
As for clearing ears does the following techniques do the job?

1) Holding nose, closing mouth and trying to blow out through the nose

2) Holding nose, closing mouth, and swallowing

Thanks

They both work. Sometime just moving your jaw works too. I use assorted ways each dive. Just remember to start clearing as soon as your head gets under water. I had alot of ear problems as a child and I am so careful to clear early, often and decend slowly.

Pretty much the same info in both but the video has the techniques demonstrated and has some cool video looking inside ears of several people.

These are the best sources on equalizing for divers that I have seen.
