I had my doc. appointment (finally!) and I am cleared to dive again! :bounce: :D
I'm doing a scuba review and then I shall be unleashed in all my greeness upon the local diving community *evil diabolical laughter* :devil_3:

My Diving To Do List
1.) Scuba review
2.) Charity Treasure Hunt Dive
3.) Learn how to use a dry suit
4.) Buy a dry suit
5.) Various other fun dives to be interspersed between items 2-4 ;)

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Oh Oh we better watch out down there. Congrads and lets melt your snorkle to celebrate ;)

Hey! I happen to like my snorkel!!! Once I figure out the dry suit thing you all are really in trouble :evil_4:

Nobody ought to be worried unless they somehow end up as my buddy ;) or if you are the poor instructor giving me my scuba review.
ScubaSarus especially need not worry because I can't go that deep...yet :devil_3:
I'm far more of a terror on dry land anyway because the minute you get out of the water I will be very likely to come interrogate you about what sort of fish and critters you saw and how "invigorating" the thermocline was :D

Thats a coincidence I'm going to post a survey (interrogation) for divers to tell what tropicals the spotted this year in RI. I still don't know what a spotted grouper looks like. I think I'll post it tomorrow. You'de also make a good DEP officer.

It's genetic, my dad is a warden. I actually learned to stand up as a baby so that I could say bye to him as he was leaving for work ;)
A snowy (or so I'm told that's what they're called) grouper is an obnoxious black fish 3-6" long with a yellow caudal and pectoral fins and and greyish spots on the body. I cracked open a mussel last weekend and set it out as bait for taking pics and once the grouper figured out who was providing the food he wouldn't leave me alone so I had to chase him around to teach him a lesson ;)

I hope the tropicals stay around for another week or 2 I have to find one of those. Heard from the DM at OSS that he spotted a trigger fish; now thats a good find.

Actually I think your lion fish is the best find of the year! We are going out again this weekend to see what is there. The groupers were in ill health last weekend, at least the ones I saw were. The butterfly fish that the other NEADC people caught looked ok though and that's what I really want. How about you dust off your snorkel or unmelt it and I'll show you where all the groupers hang out?

I personally am tired of the groupers because I don't have a tank big enough for them and they're all I ever see.
