Group therapy stated at 9:30am saturday.

Water temp was reasonable in a 5mm suit with full hood and 2mm gloves.
Did 1-1/2 hour on a single steel 98 and NO weight in 5mm suit. :)

Temp was great to 15 ft and then thermocline at twenty and you could feel it about 25 ft so forty feet was the floor. Training areas were heavily traveled.

Did some fish observation on the bass and perch- trying to better understand natural habits of fish. My second stage regulator was sooo loud. Have to start building my bubble diffuser to reduce noise.

Big thing was lunch-
Vina was a great host and chef. We had hamburgers, more hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, all the fixings and Grilled corn on the cob! Yumo...

I will let the crew talk about their dives.
We left about 4 pm when the wind was coming in and looked like it was going to rain.

Thanks everyone for a fun weekend; it was great seeing all the training and watching dive staff working so hard. Great that I could watch and smile. :coffee:

Ah, the wonders of an average depth of 20'.

You had a crew?

Sounds like a good time. I'm almost sorry I got my dive in on Friday and didn't join you.

Yep- your right about the average depth- training depths.

I am happiest with using no weight.
As an instructor you are constantly taking extra weight or parking it on a platform.
Since I stopped teaching it has been kind of my inside joke.
That lead weight is crack cocaine for instructors- you just keep taking more! It did make changing buoyancy in shallower water easier- Duh.

Glad to hear that you made it out on Friday and did some diving.
You are always welcome to join us!

Andrew
