Cleaning wristslates? what do you use?

what do you guys use to clean your wrist slates? I have a pvc homemade jobby, and a bought 3 page wrist one...both are hard as the dickens to clean

Toothpaste..... period.

I'm guessing you have the dive rite wrist slate.. I have the same one and toothpaste will make it look like new.
 
spit and thumb work fairly well too...

Sand works pretty well. So does a pencil eraser.

Softscrub. I esp like the one with the bleach in it.

BTW, if you do a search, you'll find that there have been several discussions on this topic.
