I bought a Viking DS off of Fleabay and while the suit is in very good condition, it smelleth of a basement (musty). There is some black discoloration on the white inside that I suspect is mold but nothing bad.

Can I wash the inside with regular laundry detergent? Then just hang it by the boots upside down?

Suggestions and comments please.

Yes, you can wash the inside with laundry detergent. Don't forget to rinse it THOROUGHLY. Again, Don't forget to rinse it THOROUGHLY.

Well I was thinking a very dilute amount of detergent in warm water, not straight detergent but yes I will definitely rinse it several times :)
