Two nice dives today. Five of us diving at E. Dam. Lots of fishlife. Vis 8-12'. Nice day of diving. Dive one was 82' max depth and 56 min. We did the reverse 80' wall (35' ledge, cow skull rock, angel statue, 65' ledge 80' wall, 3 big rocks and the plane. Dive two was 70 min. and max depth of 82' (plane, wing tank, 3 big rocks, plane , bouyancy course, ski boat, dam rocks). I was teaching Peak Performance Bouyancy adventure dive (AOW) on dive 2. Always rewarding to see folks drop significant amounts of lead (from 12 lb in 5/4mm with 7mm hood to 2 pounds -tank was steel 100), nail their bouyancy and extend their dive times. Way to go Joel! Nice relaxing fishy dive.

Two nice dives today. Strange weather. Temps in only the lower 70's and cool after the front moved through last night. Windy. 1-2' seas. Dive 1 was 100' max depth with a dive time of 75 min. Vis shallow was poor. About 35' it opened up to about 12'. We dove the lower portion of the 35' ledge, angel statue(very nice here today- No lights needed 15' vis), then as we dropped down a few feet more vis departed once again. We went throught the trench and down to the 100' wall. Vis improved again at depth. No lights needed on the 100' wall. Very nice here today. From there we swing South to the 80' wall, 3big rock (lots of small fish) and onward to the plane, ski boat and dam rocks. Again vis was less in the shallowes. However, a very fishy dive day. Dive 2 was max depth of 88' for a dive time of 69' doing the same profile leaving out the 100' wall. Distinct thermoclines with poor vis layering are forming (3 distinct thermoclines). Surface temp of 77 down to 54 degreees on the 100' wall. Fish life - great today.

Andy, I’m fairly new to diving, with only 10 dives under my belt, but would love to go dive the lake that I have spent so many years of my life on. I would feel privileged if I could tag along with y'all on one of your dives one weekend.
