Certainly an invigorating day of diving. First the cold temps, then the rain, then the wind, and finally sleet...yep a good day for diving:D. Good news though, the lake has finished turning over and vis has returned as we had 10-15' on the plane....well except close to shore due to the wind. Water temp was a toasty 53 degrees:coffee: We had a 42 minute dive with max depth of 53'. At the end of our dive when we made our way to the safety stop, there was surge at 15' of depth. Surfacing we found ourselves in 4' seas with the wind howling. Nice adventure. And to think I was considering spending the day at home watching TV in front of a fire. What a waste that would have been - go figure:shakehead:.

Yeah, just one today. We are diving wet with no heated area for the surface interval. The wind here has been very brisk. One of the divers in the group is a relatively new diver so it was a shorter than our usual dive. No problem though, we all had fun and that is what it is all about.

Yes we are .we did 2 dives off Bill's heated boat last Sat.12/4/10.Vis is pritty poor 6' to 8' down to 80' depth then it getts realy good 20'+. The theral cline is @ 80' temp. There is 48*. Temp above that is 58*
