Two nice dives today. Eight of us enjoyed the beautiful weather and conditions. Michael joined us from Dublin. Dive #1 was 82' for 61 min bottom time. We dove to the three big rocks (thanks to Mr. Rich for the newest addition - Senor Frog), then onward to the pool filters and then down to the 80'wall. We did most of the wall, then up to the 63' ledge and into the trench to the angel statue. Vis was great b/w 30-60' with 15'+. Nasty b/w 27-23' and then improves to 6-8 above. On the wall we had maybe 6' without lights and 4' with lights (think fog and lights), still it was nice. From the angel statue we hit the 35-40' ledge (cow skull and Budda) back to the pool filters and three big rocks to Capt. Bob and the plane (plane was not very clear). We dropped down to the barrel and stayed on the 40' ledge until the ski boat and then finished off the dive with a long safety stop amongst the bluegill and crappie on the rocks. Dive 2 was 71 min to 72'. We went back to the 3 big rocks, pool filters, 35-40' ledge, angel statue , trench, forest, 50' ledge, big stump and N. wall (very clear and nice here today). From there we angled up to the tree, pipe and back to the 35'-40' ledge, and three big rocks before finishing off on the Dam rocks. Nice long dives covering a lot of area. Next two days will be the river. 1p Sunday (big drift)and 9:30a Mon. (N.Augusta). The only labor I want to do this weekend is diving!
