All Star Liveaboards has been working in conjunction with world renowned Marine Biologist Dr. Craig Dahlgren and our onsite Marine Biologist Tanya Kamerman. We have always taken an active role in marine conservation and with Craig and Tanya's help we have been able to kick start our Citizen Scientist program.
On these charters we are focusing on relocating Diadema sea urchin and expanding our coral nurseries and outplanting coral on to the reefs. During this project we have relocated over 900 sea urchin, surveyed numerous reefs, outplanted over 50 corals and have our nursery stocked with an additional 50 staghorn and elkhorn corals.
Our next Citizen Scientist charter will be July 29-August 4, 2017 aboard the Cat Ppalu departing from Nassau, Bahamas to the Exuma Cays. This trip is all inclusive at $1,595 plus $125 in port fees. Contact our office to reserve your space and stay tuned as we will be announcing fall dates soon.
