Uhhh... in my save-a-dive pelican - mostly room temperature except when on a boat - does refrigeration help?
Refrigeration or freezering is for glue-sealant not grease
May not be strictly needed, but since I live in a very warm climate where outside temperatures can be a steady 38+ celcius for months on end during summer, I prefer it that way. No harm storing it at 5-10 degrees I think. I leave it out on my workbench all day when I am actually servicing so it’s at slightly below normal indoor room temps when I need it.
I also hear similar arguments that wine should be stored at room temps in the cellar all the time but I never bought into that either as it is typically advice touted in Europe with freezing winter conditions for half the year with only rare summer days exceeding 40 celcius…
