Christmas

So, I just realized it's November. Not only do I need to turn in applications for college (ok, I have all of them in, except one, and I just need to mail them my Florida residency statement!), but people are starting to ask about Christmas stuff. I have no clue what to even think about getting for anyone in my family, and they have no clue what to get for me. I actually need to shop sometime soon, because I will be too busy the two weeks before Christmas. But it made me think, what do I want for Christmas? I mean, other than world peace. I don't know about a car, I know my parents wouldn't get me one, they've offered to pay for half of one, maybe I should ask for them to just give me money to buy a car? I'd kind of like a car And weight pouches for my BC, which I cannot find anywhere. my mom suggested a scuba tank. So, what do you all want? What's starting to roll around in your mind, what are you scheming to pick up this holiday season? And of course, are you going to go dive the day after Christmas to try out the new toys?

I use my Amex almost exclusively, then use the points to purchase various presents for the family and myself. My genius wife left out the invoice for barnes and noble - I'm getting a book on the doria. The compressor will magically appear in the garage shortly after christmas!

i'll be on a long diving holiday. Planning to get myself a new bp/w setup(deepoutdoors harness with oms bladder). Gonna enjoy big time

We are taking the kids and their friends to Maui and then helping each other pay the bills.

Maybe I would like dinner at David Paul's....in Lahaina. Oh..the 8" dome port.

This will be my Daughters first Christmas...for her I ordered one of those one-piece jumper outfits with a dive flag on it. I told my wife to get me a floating car seat so that my daughter could be my surface marker.....she did not see the humor in that.

hubby should be getting nothing this christmas because;

1. a rebreather - he will be try diving next friday with the aim to make a decision by march to buy one

2. a dslr... and he just happened to have a OW student that works for cannon last week and is getting prices as i type for a new rig

3. he also told me next July he off to East Timor for 2 weeks

4. we will be back off to Yap (or somewhere else) between now and august so he can go play with the mantas

so for chrissy this year, he gets bupkist!
