Sawyer closed his Red Hook shop. Didnt' let us know. We showed up, first day of vacation w/dives booked. Shop closed. Guy on the dock tells us we gotta get on a ferry and go to St. John, catch a taxi to Caneel Bay to find Sawyer. Forget it. Man didn't let us know and we gotta lay out an extra $30-40 each for trip to St. John. NOT!
Anybody else got dives booked with Sawyer beware, dives + ferry + taxi + ferry back to St. Thomas. Cost of ferry and taxi pays for a dive with another dive shop.
