Savedra Dive Center in Moalboal www.savedra.com are looking for someone to handle our Chinese diving dept, this would include translations, managing enquiries, bookings and assisting with divers in the store and on dives.

The role is part administrative and part diving, your day would be an equal split between the two, you would be working as part of a diverse group of instructors and DMs from varied nationalities. You would be expected to interact with guests from other nationalities as well as Chinese speaking divers.

If you are currently a Divemaster we are prepared to train you to Instructor, there are also possibilities for technical diver training for those that show an aptitude for it.

If you are not yet a Divemaster we can provide training to get you there and up to instructor level. All training is provided for free, we only ask that you provide/fund your own materials and PADI fees. We would expect a period of unpaid work in exchange for any training given, this would be agreed between you and the company during interview and notarized in a employment contract.

After any work period agreed to recuperate training expenses the position would come with a fixed salary and commission for bookings and courses taught.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with long term ambitions in the dive insdustry, Savedra are a very supportive employer and will help you develop within the role. Ideally this opportunity would go to someone who can commit to 12 months or more, although we will consider motivated people who have time constraints.

Please apply to lee@savedra.com with a short email introducing yourself and attach a resume, your resume should highlight any non diving skills and experience you think would be useful to Savedra
