Paul and I decided to check out Chilliwack lake last Sunday. Here is a short video:

for a blue water, hot weather guy...thats green and looked cold... nice video...

Nice one Dale. How much ambient light did you have at 105'?

There was enough light to be able to see clearly and shoot the video. I used my GoPro mounted to a UK light cannon but it only came into effect on close ups (and not to well as one can see when I shot the freshwater sponge on the tree). I did not have a diffuser on it and it created a white spot. The visability was similar to that which I have experienced on a medium good day diving the Saskatchewan in Nanaimo.

I just return from Pavillion lake which has the same kind of vis but I think Chilliwack was better at depth. Video to follow and I did not use a light there either.

Thanks for that Dale. Have you ever heard of Johnson Lake British Columbia Fishing Adventures . We just returned from a few days diving there and I would say it has vis comparable to Pavilion. Chilliwack lake looks intriguing....I hope to check it out some day.
